Battering Ram
Medieval Mesh completed for an art test made in Maya, textured in substance 3D painter, and ported in unreal engine 5 for display. Challenges I faced when doing this art test include finding references for the medieval object which was mitigated by expanding my search to other websites such as Pinterest. My main takeaway from this project was how to optimally manage my time when given an art test
Villain Mask
Created a mask from maya and textured in substance 3D painter for the antagonist of Introspectre. The object was created in Maya and textured in substance 3D painter and Adobe Photoshop. Challenges I faced when designing the mask was sculpting it fit with custom character we created for game, which I solved by importing that character into maya and reforming the mask to cover the face. It was through project that knowledge in texturing in uv mapping, photoshop, and texturing was better understood.
Thermal Grenade
Sci-fi Model created based on concept by from the movie Elysium by Ben Mauro. This was created in Maya, textured in substance 3D painter, and the lighting was made in Marmoset ToolBag 4. Challenges I faced when creating this project was getting the texture patterns to display properly, which I solved by changing the projection mode. This was one of my first projects in 3D modeling and as such, this is where I learned how to properly use the the tools with each of the software packages previously listed to create this object and to further increase my interest in 3D modeling in general.
